No I didn’t know her personally and don’t feel sad that she’s dead.

I’m trying to understand why you are sad?

It's sad whenever anyone loses their life.

    You don't have empathy?

For me its just being polite really. Kind of like asking how's someones day's been even though you really don't care.

I didn't know who she was until my other half told me. Not really sad that she is dead, but a 40 year old woman committing suicide is in itself quite tragic. You can still empathise without having a personal connection.

Because I’m a human being that appreciates that life is precious. Whether I know them or not is irrelevant.

Only know of this person from the court case. Sounds like she had it all, then pressed the big red button. Twice.

Would people be ripping such a person if they were male?

So why does knowing someone make any difference? Does knowing someone make them more important? Maybe to you yes, but she was still a person, loved my many.

Absolutely ashamed by your comments to be honest

There are ways to deal with things, admit you screwed up, change your ways and move on. Not give up and end it.

I highly doubt it’s that rational at the end.

But that's the crux . She wasn't in a stable frame of mind. It could have been just 5 minutes of feeling suicidal, but that's all it takes sometimes.

All well and good saying sort yourself out, but if you haven't been in that position you really have no idea
