You get access to the beta if you go for the cheaper option and the full game when the main game is released, through BIS store.

If you pay the extra for the "Contribute" option, you get a steam key too, so you can erm... give it to a friend?

Or something?

Seems a bit nutty, but 15.99 seems a good price to me. tempted... You first - YES YOU!

If it had an Editor I would definitely buy the game, but I think that may come later, I really hope it does..

Any confirmed release dates yet? I love Bohemia's games (Arma, etc) and I was a huge fan of Hostile Waters.

I'm interested in this as I'm a fan of Arma games, but the gameplay vids/screenshots I've seen have left me cold to put it bluntly.

Still I'd be interested in playing in a open beta if there was one, anyone know about that?

Yes there is an open beta. Just pre-purchase from Bohemia and you're in.
