It could well have caused it yes.

Oh righty. how can I improve the tidyness in it I have a modular PSU so im sure that will help. what is cable braiding?

You can hide the lost cables in areas you can see like the HDD bays and CD drive bays, most you could route under the motherboard.

Braiding is basically covering up your bare psu cables with a nice looking protective cover. If done properly it looks very nice but takes a very long time.

my hiper does but I would like to do it to all other ones like fan cables

You should be able to find some guides on the net, I am going to do it to my fan cables soon as well, you will need some braiding and heatshrink

OMFG OMFG, i nearly cried. i was sitting listening to music and voom the monitor went black, no response from any graphics output on my system, then i really started ******* myself. then in the end i plucked up courage to press the off button, I then put thing where they normally should be and powered up, (by this time i'm shaking like a *******dog) then it takes about 10 mins to boot up and all seems ok at the moment, any thoughts on what could have happened?
