just tried these with oblivion, as far as i can tell there were jaggies everywhere when i tried the same method when i had the chuckie patch so the patch isnt in these, sound was kind of messed up and i had erratic frame rates switching back to 6.3's with chuckie patch

Such a relief to come to this thread and see other people have got the corrupt windows loading screen - i also had the 'windows has recovered from a serious error. Did all the drivercleaner stuff so glad to see it's not just me.

Played cod2 and hl2 and both played fine. Hl2 seemed to play better than usua; tbh.

Hi, the automated oveclocking still crashes the graphic drivers then reboots my PC...

Performance Improvements

* 3DMark06 CPU scores improve as much as 4.9% across all product lines

Why would a GPU driver improve the CPU scores for 3DMark? Surely a CPU benchmark shouldnt care about what GPU or GPU driver is in the machine, if it does, then as a benchmark/test, 3DMarks CPU test is completely useless.

Im using the 6.2's otherwise I get that interference/wavy lines thing.
It becomes more and more noticeable as you get used to it

Fed up with it TBH, cant even get a simple thing fixed, im going to Nvidia 7900GTX, cooler and just better no doubt.

Ok that's a solution that I've tried, however the supplied ATI, inbuilt, overclocker should work shouldn't it???

Wow i'm glad they fixed that leaving quake 4 idle for 10 minutes then opening notepad crash. That was a killer.

On a bad note, i've lost clock on my X1900XT, from 670/801 @ 1.425/2.113V to 660/790 - 1.400/2.091V.

I think it may be a mem issue, ill test tomorrow but

screen corruption on startup, the wavy problem more noticable

but

gains of fps ranging from 5-12 fps higher in some games.
