Cat 8 cable?

i thought only reason to run flat cable is to put it under carpets? other then that run normal round cables?

I'm going to was just suprised there was no Cat8 normal round cables, there all flat ones. Cat6 it is i think.

If the flat cables have the pairs individually shielded then i dont think its gonna be a issue if they are flat. The pairs should still be twisted though.
I will try and find a pic of the flat cable cut open

It has really thin wires.

26awg is 0.129mm2

Normal Cat5e is 24awg (0.205mm2) and Cat6 should be 23awg (0.258mm2).

According to an image search that's supposed to be a Cat8 cable. That I believe should be 22awg (0.326mm2).

think awg is mainly if running poe. even 28awg is fine for signaling.
