On a more serious note than a lot of the flippant stuff I have posted in the last hour...
Keep an eye on the animal's behaviour. Look out for unusual changes. Watch out for swelling and/or tenderness in the abdomen. Watch out for any signs of distress int he animal.
Hale and Pace (I think) did this better, one of them was gloved up and withdrew the arm to reveal that they'd been warming a pie in the cow - gross but very funny.
