Cat WEE problem

You wouldn't punish a chav who is peeing on your front door and writing stuff on your car with his keys ? Why not a cat then ? Why do people treat animals better than other humans ?

Taking him for a drive and releasing him 100 miles away from home sounds like a good idea to me.

I never said anything about killing, nor did pred I think, he mentioned rat poison but I think it's a joke why would he else say to take it for a drive then ?

EDIT: wow I'm blind, sorry my bad. I really didn't notice the word kill there . I can understand him though, I'd be completely peed off when someone or something would damage my car and makes my house smell.

Rentokill woodwork treatment is supposed to stop cats pithing on thit.

When I worked in a hardware store it was all anyone ever bought the stuff for.

Had this issuse when I was nipper when we just moved into our current home. To my knowledge we didn't have a pee problem, as much as a unwanted visitor, but my dad got it with the hose and ever since then it's never been back. Thats about 12 years now.

I thought that the standard "fix" for unwanted cat related issues was landmines followed by a hose?

The landmine deals with the problem and the hose is to wash the resulting mess away afterwards ...

******* CATS! Hate them. One has decided to use the back entrance to the flat as its toilet. There must be a least 10 craps outside the back door and this is after I've already picked up the original lot. It's absolutely disgusting.

We covered the area with lemon juice but it did nothing. Is there no other proper suggestions?

we had this problem along with 4 others cats releasing there smelly load on my garden we installed a couple of the little boxes that send i high pitched noise out when set of by the infrared, it doesnt harm them and they dont come back instead they crap on other peoples gardens :p

bit less extreme than the other options but feliway works wonders:

its a cat pheremone that basically stops them wanting to mark teritory:

Feliway is a natural treatment developed to help prevent your cat from engaging in marking behaviour.

Spraying and marking are common emotional and instinctual responses in cats. In new and stressful environments, many cats spray urine to show their "ownership" of the territory.

Urine marking generally occurs on vertical surfaces like doors, walls, table, chair legs, and drapes. Treatment of these locations with Feliway helps curb this troublesome behavior.

This product is a chemical copy of the facial pheromones present in cats. The presence of these pheromones results in an emotional calming, reducing the cat's impulse to mark its territory with urine.

Scientific studies confirm Feliway's effectiveness in mimicking the results of facial pheromone marking.

or you can get big cat poo that does work as well...

With our cats if they used to claw the furniture we used Orange zest on a towel. I would suggest trying that minus the towel and just using the zest of a orange around the area the cat is releaving itself.

"Gardman Cat-Gard Green" sounds like it works pretty well too apparently... you can get lion dung pellets called "Silent Rour" but its a little bit hit and miss from the sounds of it.
Eucalyptus oil works well too suposidly

Bucket of water above doorway. When said cat arrives to treat himself; give him what he deserves. It won't take much of that treatment before he does one I imagine.

Bear urine. Spray liberally around the area you want to protect. You'll need to pin up a picture of a bear if this cat has never seen one before with an arrow suggesting that the urine has come from this bear.

Lemon and crushed eggshells are meant to work. The eggshells are sharp and irregular which the cats don't like to walk on. Standing guard with a water surprise is also effective.
