Is it really so much to ask for a small check-box [X] "accelerate flash" in the drivers?
Been with Nvidia the last two gen but we found driver installs over the top of the old usually work fine except for times like:
-the drivers had significant architectural or feature changes in them
-if you were having 2d vs 3d clock issues
-aspect ratio scaling issues
-video acceleration issues
-driver hanging/crashing issues
Normal driver updates worked fine but when stuff like this changed often a clean driver sweep in safe mode could fix it. I think its not that the old files usually broke anything but think of it more as a profile settings forced reset.
Exit joke- Where can I get a driver cleaner cleaner? Lets say you had so many different driver cleaning apps you weren't sure they were working right? lol
