On my system I decided to remove all the AMD and nvidia drivers and then used Driver sweeper. Unfortunately it swept a bit too well and trashed my Windows install so I am reinstalling at the moment. I have just got to the part where there is over 100 important updates to install.:D

lolz system restore didnt help any or didnt have it on?
o well a clean install is sometimes a good thing huh, mines 2months old and alrdy feel ive installed too much trash ><
 
My performance in games has improved massively, bf3 is like a 30 fps increase. only problems ive encountered are when i leave a server on bf3, try connect to another straight after, i get a black screen then the display driver stopped working/started working again message. Also after i get that sometimes i cant load twitch.tv streams etc. Maybe a fresh install of the drivers would fix this? :S

Oh wise Finally.

Texture filtering option. I notice its on standard, but there are two other options High quality and performance. I was wondering which setting you and others users? I notice amd use standard, but if you use RadeonPro it uses High quality.

do u use afterburner by any chance?
 
ye what is the deal with afterburner messing up some games recently? it interferes with CCC or something?
just curious why

I never have system restore on, I don't get problems that often and if I do get a problem I would rather do a full reinstall anyway (in the long run it saves a lot of time).

I read years ago when using MSDOS that it was good practice to reinstall the operating system every 6 months and have been doing that ever since.
 
I used to get crashes with Battlefield BC2 after installing Windows 8. Everything slowed to a crawl, next a totally red screen then computer would restart.
So far so good with these drivers. I have a 5850 Vapor-X.
