See messing about with the midrange is gonna be fun for me for a while but now im starting think hold on a second these 2600xt's may come good afterall. They still have to be overclocked however properly as there is probably a lot of potential there, just no software to do this in.

Iv sorted out my 8600 mess about spec and now im gonna see if I can find an 2600xt mess about spec also. Got a few days to decide

Cant get 7.7 to install, it crashes when doing the screen blinking bit.

Been reading over the hardocp 2900xt crossfire review again, id really love to know how they got their numbers, contradicts just about every other review out there. :confused:

Is there a big problem with EQ:QW aswell? I seem to be getting 20fps with 16xAA/AF in CCC but disabled in games, 20fps also is in the menu too and I'm thinking that jsut cant be right :confused:

Performance seems fine for some other people with the 2900.

I'm using the 7.6.

The menu for quake wars is laggy for some reason, the performance of the game is pretty crap at present, seems to depend on if you have your fps unlocked or not, some servers i get 60+ others its virtually nailed to 30. :confused:

Same here, but that was with my 8800, I rememberd someone gave me some commands for the console, but I did not wright then down.

Unstable on my XP x64 Box

Catalyst 7.7 kept BSOD'ing on me while playing Company of Heroes. I'm running XP x64 (why oh why did I choose that?) and an X1950XT.

Downgrading to 7.6 fixed the BSOD problems.
