so how do you benchmark it, or get it to show FPS, ar eyou guys using 3rd party software?

Download the Stalker benchmark and copy the 2x save files to your save folder, then run the game, load one of the saves and get the console up with the tilde key (next to 1), then type either demo_play short_timedemo, or demo_play buildings_timedemo, depending on which one you loaded, then once its finished get the console back up to see what yer average etc... frames were.

It's always worked if it dosnt work when you enable it in the menu load up the console and type R2_AA ON

ive just installed the 7.8 bata. i played Lost Planet Extreme Condition i must say its much faster. also the menu screen is fixed. yey...

see i said when new drivers are released more performance we well see out of theses cards. seems like im right..

I don't think they'd be any adverse effect on other ranges, feel free to try, and post any changes

No its not proper AA, it just blurs edges, and you cant tell the difference wether its on or off.

I just ran STALKER time demo, all maxed, 1280x1024:

Min: 10
Max: 950
Middle: 135
Avg: 95

I can confirm WIC Beta runs without the memory issue of 7.7 (Crashed when loading a map)

Although I haven't noticed any performance changes from the 7.6 drivers (Maybe even a slight drop in fps?)

no, but i was going for 8800GTS 320MB. but seeing 9800GTX will come out soon, and my budget in other components have "expended". i may get a £100 graphics card and then upgrade in November.

I devised my own timedemo for Stalker which I use if anyone wants to try it

Everything on max in game (Including AA and AF) grass shadows off 1280x1024

I get
