Catalyst 8.4

Framerate and GPU usage are still bouncing all over the place in UT3 for me. It's either 60fps or an unplayable 22fps. I'm seriously thinking about going back to my X1800XT :(
 
Had a quick go at ET-QW last night. With everything high and 4xAA, it was hovering just under 60, which I thought was pretty good, but after about 5 minutes it started chugging terribly. FPS was around 30, and was stuttering horribly. There was nothing running on my system that should have caused that, so possibly the drivers.

I have just ordered an asus maximus ix38 se and a powercooler 3870x2 to run along with one of my existing powercooler 3870's should see a nice boost with tri-fire lol. :D
 
Working fine for CSS and BF2.3DMark06 run saw a small improvement.

Still got the issue of the random changing desktop size :o very odd.

lol no worries, cheers for posting up though, the newer drivers are 64bit only, so that can wait until tomorrow when my new mobo and card arrive. Will then switch back to 64bit when i do a re-install. :p
