I think that's why the guy gave it a good rattle when he first pulls up alongside it, to see if an alarm is going to draw attention.

Was just searching around for many stolen KTM 990's (was thinking of one next). One of the top links is a guys stolen from an underground carpark with an Almax chain on it, they took 3 hours to get it off with the whole thing on cctv 
and the day before the stole a bike from across the road.
They really don't seem to care about getting caught anymore.
Ungh and another link where they knocked down the guys front garden wall to just lift the whole bike, cover and chain straight in to a van. Maybe I shouldn't get one of these.

doesn't matter what bike you own if they want it they will take it,so easy to break them up and sell the parts
all you can do is try and slow them down asmuch as possible and lock it up in a busy well lit public place
