Cell-tech

yeh, lots of different exercises hit your forearms, like reverse barbell curls and hammer curls for example. i personally dont train my forearms directly because my job (cleaner :)) means i give them a good working every night mon - fri for 2 hours, so my forearms are pretty damn big.

ahh kendo, maybe i should try going 4 times a week then! the biggest problem there tho is 6th form

at current i train

tuesday morning (2 free's)
thursday morning (2 free's)
saturday

and yeh, i thought 2 big heavy lifts wouldnt be good, particularly as they sort of interlink in terms of muscles used so you probably wouldnt get the most out of the second exercise!

wide grip pulls up, bah!!! just before i got struck with this illness i was managing 3 sets of 7 and was really chuffed with myself, its not much i know :p but i was happy with the progress made, but now ill probably be back to managing 3 sets of about 3 !! :/

Hehe, I can't do that many wide arm pull ups. The most I've ever done in a row is 7 with good slow form. Damn hard exercise. Keep up the good forearm work though ;)

i really blasted the on the chin/pull ups a lot, i just love doing them so much. i dont know what it is, just the idea of being able to lift your body weight really gets me fired up, plus there is a moron at my school who always gets people to compete with him in chin up competitions before footy training, so i had to ensure id beat him :P
