New year, new log.

Aim of this year is to build my squat, deadlift and bench to nice, juicy numbers. Got a lot of work with respect to mobility but will have to take that one step at a time.

Diet is non existant. Being a poor student with a sporadic lifestyle, diet is proving very difficult to pin down.

With the meet coming up soon, I'm hoping for some serious peppering and a deadlift pb of 100kg (currently 95).

Let the gains commence!

As well as my comments in the Bro-down thread, there is a steady bit of hip rise too. Get real tight against the bar and drive through the heels, keep your back & lats solid and it'll come up off the floor like a charm.

As in high but I guess each cable machine varies, and when I was last doing these it was for RC rehab so I didn't want to activate deltoid, so these may well be fine for standard int/ext rotation work.

Ah, I should have explained better.

I meant that you are missing external rotation mobility.

It's always good to strengthen your external rotators (they will be partially switched off by your mobility deficits), but it's a different thing. Look up YTWLs, as they're a more complete smashing of the shoulder (form thread has links I think).
