The multi... Seeing as I really bought it for a commuting/touring bike, I don't want to spend every waking minute at the weekends cleaning it and making sure it isn't going to throw a hissy fit because I left a bit of grit. So I'm really looking for the most effective solution for cleaning and then lube. I'm very happy with the WD40 chain wax, it does fling a bit. But I'd rather that than no protection.
Quite honestly, a chain oiler is exactly what you need. I put off fitting one to my RSV as they always had a bit of a "sensible old man" image to me, but after spending a shed load on a top quality Tsubaki chain I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did. I don't need to use a toothbrush and paraffin any more, a quick wipe with a rag and it's gleaming like a new chain.
If you get the Tutor oiler then it's a piece of cake to install as well, no tapping into vacuum connections or wiring to the battery etc. as there is with a Scottoiler.
