Far too cheap. Your chair will drastically affect your posture, a poor chair can really damage your back.

To the OP: Get a kneeler!
Hmm maybe I'll get one... but I wouldn't tell anyone that I had paid over £200 for a chair... they'd think I was sad to be honest :p

I see these posts coming up now and again and nobody really replies because there isnt exactly a wide variety in chairs....

what size monitor/tv do you have?

I been looking for a multi purpose chair myself, something comfortable and flexible but different in design.

Im using a 40 inch tv so I dont need to be so close as a regular monitor....

been looking at something with a different posture - possibly more gamer style....

chair 1

chair 2

take away the monitor holder and leave the chair with the keyboard holders etc and that would be ok.

kinda what Im after but again no keyboard/mouse holder making it useless :p

bit ott

there was one nice chair I found before but I cant find it now. that also was missing the mouse/keyboard stand :p dont see why people dont look add them cos it means people with big tv's can move away :p

^ I know what you mean, mansize, when i get a new chair. It will HAVE to have a highback or a headrest!

A nice winged chair would do nicely for snoozing! :p

Stevenazari- that looks more like an electric drum kit with a monitor to me.

Another possibility, possibly OTT though... Just a little.

thing is most of these designs are half *** jobs. especially for computer chairs - designers are thinking too far into the box. lots of people are using large lcd's for their monitors now - yet designs are still designed for the desk when people want to wall mount their tv.

gonna draw some designs I think :p

don't know if I'd feel comfortable straddling my pc, with its hyper type R psu

I'm using a 22" monitor, stevenazari1. In fact, here's my setup to give you a better idea:

Paras, I'd love one of those chairs, but they don't come cheap. Plus I don't think I'd want to get a second hand one, either. I think £270 is the absolute limit of my budget.

Thank you very much for all of the replies, everyone! Haha, that chair with tracks made me chuckle, badbob. :D

I just bought a used humanscale on ebay for 125 pounds in london. The seller has a few I can send you his info if you want?

Also just bought 2 Herman miller Herons for my flat in prague at 630 doller, there are a couple of sellers on ebay that will ship the HS chairs over here for 50 quid.

Im not much of a fan of corner setups - I much prefer my pc be the centre piece on a giant lcd tv with it underneath and very few wires. only 2 wires will be seen on my setup, power and link to tv, speaker wires will be hidden, they go right round my room. its not the biggest of rooms btw :(

wish I went into interior decorating. I love to design rooms.
