Even if he wants to play Rooney wide, he'd be better playing him on the right rather than the left. Barca attack mainly from their right and Rooney is spending most of his time defending. At least if he's on the right, he'll be further forward more often and you'd fancy him up against Slyvinho(sp) more than Puyol.

I dont know if its just the way Barca are passing the ball around, or the way Utd are playing...but Barca just seem to have way too much time on the ball, Utd dont seem to be closing them down and I am seeing Barca players with plenty of room and time to play
