Champion's League Final **Will include spoilers**

The media told him to put the Barcelona Shirt on for a picture (it was Barca shirt as they didnt have Arsenal one) to be taken he was stupid and should have known the media would twist it for a story.

And a twist they got. They got him kicked out of the final. That's really sad, as he may not officiate another final. :(
 
god i'm nervous !!!!
been fretting all week, we can not lose it now after we made it so far. Losing in the finals is the worse ! Anyone know where barca are staying in paris? Do they have marriot over there? :D
 
I'm feeling a mix of fear, nervousness, dread, envy and self pity at the moment, an awful combination that is making me feel awful.

I'm at work and can't concentrate for long, I just want this day to end, with us winning of course.
 
I watched a bit of BBC breakfast TV this morning.
They were live at Waterloo station talking to Arsenal fans going over.
Blokes drinking coffee and far too many women.
What a waste of the tickets.

Don't think Messi has played since being injured in the Chelsea game, so he'll be lacking match fitness.

He'll probably be on the bench and come on later as a sub I'd though.

heard today that Pires might start on the left ahead of Reyes.

Not sure what to make of that tbh.

I like Reyes due to the workrate he puts in on that left side with tracking back and defending. Pires is well past his best but his experience in big matches may proove important.
 
I think Pires has played brilliantly when playing in the champions league. I am in favour of him starting. Plus with Reyes coming on as a sub he will have his pace to cause trouble.

This week has really dragged so far, cant wait for the game to kick off. Its going to be brilliant.

Come on you gunners!!!
 
I've got 3 mates going over to the final, another 3 watching in a pub at Highbury but I couldn't get away from work early enough today so will have to watch it in town :/

Going to miss out on all the atmosphere :(
 
I love both Arsenal and Barcalona's style of play, so this is win-win for me! Best of luck to both teams though. ie I want both teams to have totally fit players and may the best team win! :D

Too right, heard my Dad's old boss is going today, he hasn't been to a match in about 5-10 years. I got the offer of going on the BBC if I was going on train, the TV star that I am :D
