Champions League Spoilers 7th/8th March

Pfft, we dominate Real for the entire 90 minutes at the Bernabeu, could have scored more than the one we did, and people still have no faith in us? Shame on you all, you'd think we were inconsistent this year or something!

As for my predictions, Barca will beat Chelsea by a goal, but it won't be pretty, Liverpool will go out on away goals when Benfica nab one, Rangers will lose by at least a couple, and I'm not predicting the Arsenal match, because I'm never at all sure whatever I go for.

Why the negative posts about Rangers' chances? We were at least evenly matched with Villarreal at Ibrox. Apart from a couple of good chances in the first half they didn't look like scoring any more. They were very weak in the air and not too good defensively. I think Lovenkrands' pace and Buffel's masterful passing will open them up.

I'll admit, I'm pretty much basing my guess on Rangers' usual form in Europe and the result of the first leg, so I wouldn't put too much stock in what I say. I didn't see the game, so I couldn't say how well you played, but only managing a draw at home and then playing a difficult Spanish team at their stadium looks a difficult task to win for me, especially seeing as a 1-1 won't cut it.

Hope everyone except Arsenal goes out :) But got a bad feeling everyone but Arsenal might go through :-\

LOL took the words outta my mouth lol:p.

Personally i hope Arsenal go through and Chelsea get spanked by Barca good and proper...im just hoping Madrid dont show up for the game ie play really badly but then i think the gooners have their best chance seeing as they are playing at home. As for Chelsea i will be definitely celebrating if they get knocked out:).

Liverpool i couldnt care less about, dont really mind if they go through or not. Rangers?? im kinda hoping they go through but i have a funny feeling they wont. I like the Rangers, prefer them over Celtic but from what i saw of their first game against villareal i dont think they will be able to pull it off in Spain but heres hoping they do.

Hope Arsenal go through tommorrow night, we'll probably need to score though as I can't see our defence keeping Real out for another 90 minutes.

Apart from that, I'd like to see Liverpool go through but it seems unlikely with their inability to score atm. Barca will be too strong for Chelsea imo and, while id love rangers to go through i cant see it happening unfort.

I don't see Chelsea going through to be honest, with Barca playing at home and in the form they are in I believe it could be 2-3 goals to the good for them.

I'd like to hope rangers go through :) more english teams the better.

With Arsenal's display away they'll sneak through :)

The pool, I'm not sure, just hope someone pulls something out of the bag :)

Don't worry, its fait that Fowler will score the winner in the last minute. Already had 2 last minute winners ruled out, so its 3rd time lucky. Euro nights at Anfield are AMAZING, benfica wont know what hit them, only wish i was there :(

I share the feeling above that it might just be Arsenal that sneak through. Hope Liverpool and Rangers get through, don't really care about the other two.

Looking forward to the 'Mourinho show' tonight though. Always fun to watch :D And am keeping fingers crossed that tomorrow is the night the Pool finally pull some goals out of the bag.

4 matches I will go for

Barca 2:1 Chelsea
L'Pool 1:1 Benfica
Arseanal 1:1 Real Madrid
V'Real 2:0 Rangers

Seen this in the Guardian today :D

How to play on grass: a beginner's guide

1 When you run out at Camp Nou the surface will look funny. This colour is called "green" and is Barcelona's pitch, which is made up of something called "grass". You may not be used to this if you play most of your games at Stamford Bridge.

2 Don't be alarmed. This is a natural, organic substance that smells of Hyde Park.

3 Although it is made of blades, they won't cut you.

4 It will leave green marks on your legs but don't worry, this is not gangrene - it comes off with soap.

5 You can do everything you normally do on your brown pitch on this green one.

6 You can slide on it and jump higher. If a cocky teenager cheeks you, you can throw yourself at him on the floor or in the air. It will probably be more comfortable to roll around on if pretending to be injured.

Come on Rangers! :D

2-1 win for us, playing on the backfoot most of the game! (Thats being optimistic but hell, be as well dreaming of the next phase for at least another few hours)
