Change Location?

So there is a game that is in soft launch only in Netherlands and Canada and i live in the UK, I downloaded a vpn and change my location to Canada and then i force stopped the play store and cleared the cache and data then when i opened it i searched for the app but it didnt come up so i went on the fb page and clicked a link to the play store and when i click install i have to log in and then it says its not available in your country even though I'm running a vpn. Does anyone have some tips, Cheers

Check out Apkmirror website.
I've used that in past & worked for some things for me.
No guarantee they have it though.

As above just find the APK and install it from a file explorer.

VPNs won't work as your Google account is still a UK one, you need a Netherlands/Canadian Google account.

You can try getting a Canada play store ID or the gmail one and then try with a VPN unless your VPN is not having IP leak issues.
