Changes to MOT test coming into effect from May 2018

Engine cover fitted. Equally irritating.

Ive had the undertray one with my car, and my wifes had 'car seats fitted so unable to check the belt' for the rear. As they must be fairly common, im not sure they will disappear.

Lots of new car headlights are blinding when they are oncoming. Its ridiculous. Every car with these stupidly bright headlights should have a system like on new BMW's where it detects oncoming traffic and splits the beam.

That technology is just for high beams though? It doesn't change the fact that normal lighting is far too bright. All these rules about % lumens in certain areas, and various levels being kept may look nice in a test environment. But roads have hills and bumps making it all irrelevant.
