As RJC says don't trust those PSUs with a quad core machine.

XFX PSUS include a 5 Year Warranty.

Builds above are about what you would want to get.

One thing I'd be careful are ram with high profile heatsinks.

The heatsinks may interfear with the cpu cooler.

Because it may hit the fan on the heatsink.

But the ram i speced should not foul the heatsink.

Just a quick question, is IDE stuff old technology? Am I right in saying that Sata took over it?

You are correct.

IDE is really old now and you can't even get it on newer motherboards.

You want a Z77 motherboard so it has SATA 3.

Its a newer faster CPU that has just hit the market, slightly better in terms of performance, Would recommend the ATI 6850 over the 460 as its a newer card and probably performs better than a 460 at a lower price, Otherwise looks like a nice spec

Yes i would get a aftermarket cooler.

With a 612s you should get about 4.4GHz overclock
