My wood trim is sun damaged.

I have 2 options.

First option is stick with the wood, get it redone and add wood on the top of the door pieces like this where there is leather ( don't like the leather there) - about £400

Or I can convert to piano black trim including doors for £500.

Once you go black.......

I would go with the black simply because it is less likely to get sun-damaged in the future. Though I must admit that I do quite like the wood. Which is unusual because I usually despise wood trim.

Piano looks great. Shiney carbon fibre would look good too.

What colour is the car (any excuse to post pictures of good cars please!) for the car-interior match?

I am leaning towards black gloss. It's also what all the new Astons pretty much come with and seems a desirable after market add on.

Boring grey:

Look at that car... if you don't smile every time you set eyes on that you must be dead and haven't realized yet.

p.s. Black, or brushed alu if you can get it

Satin black wrap not a cheap option? Agree that piano black out be a dust and smudge nightmare, can't think of much worse to have in a car

Piano black is a sod to keep clean, but that wood trim looks out of place... Tough call.

I'd probably go for piano black.

Piano black looks amazing but is a total nightmare to keep looking good.

Saying that i hate wood inside cars so so much i'd pretty much have anything instead.
