Changing the colour of vodka.

So I have the alcohol but a mate suggested I somehow colour it?

Only found useless info on jello shots online, is there any simple way to change the colour and retain most of its original characteristics?

Okey dokey. I was thinking food colour but wasn't sure what would happen because alcohol can have some weird effects.

why the hell would you want to add food colouring to vodka?
Skittles I understand, but just Dye your mouth and add a funny aftertaste to otherwise good booze?
