How so? Its a very early build, its not using the final character models, there's no unit animation at all, no sound effects/music and there are placeholders everywhere. Its just to give a idea of the gameplay if anything. Plus it already looks good compared to the original spectrum version :)

New in v .11:

Game is now running on a new, upgraded server
There is a new login screen
There is a sound effect played at the start of a game and when it is your turn
There are some fixes for the end-game chat

We are still pursuing the lobby bug where you can end up in duplicate games. The best advice for the moment is not to leave a waiting game and immediately try and join another one. Please wait for the game to start, unless you are going to stop playing for a while. Just listen out for that game start sound effect while you are doing other things. We are also still trying to figure out the network problems with the Linux build - so sincere apologies to all linux users. Rest assured we will have this fixed for the first official backer release of the game.

v1.7 was released yesterday adding the friends list & coop features, along with 6 vs 6 battles. To celebrate they've also knocked 50% off the price to £7.49 (there is a free demo version with some limitations also available). Links below. Also a Twitch streamer, MattyRasker, tested the coop mode in Realms last night, so you can check out his stream to see how it works here.

Law Mode which allows you to play using creatures & wizards with hitpoints and spending mana to cast spells rather than managing the RNG has been added.

1.10 Released: Duel Mode & Equipment Forging

The devs have pushed out version 1.10 adding Duelling, Forge Crystals, and the ability to Forge your own Armour and Staffs to use.

Duel Mode is the dead simple one button way to have a Wizard battle. It is currently Law Mode only (so hit points not RNG) but Chaos Mode is being worked. From Duelling you can win Forge Crystals (you'll be able to obtain them via other means in the future too). Forge Crystals can then be spent to unlock the Forge where you design your own magical kit.
