Do you think Activision have dictated most of this crap or are these decisions being made by IW?

That is something I would love to know.

I have rooted around as best I could and struggled to find anything.

I believe Activision let IW do whatever they please in the hope they lay another golden egg.

We have news for you Activision, they did not manage to lay that egg you wanted but they did lay a giant, steaming turd.

Yup, they make thier name on pc then its "screw you pc" from cod2 onwards. Fourzerotwo is meant to be a sort of community guy but from everything ive seen all he does is play the game on 360 and promote it on that platform, ive yet to see any actual gameplay footage of the pc version.

Not really, they are still separate entities.

that's like claiming the head of the xbox360 division ultimately control the price of windows.

Loads of people jumped on the LULZTREYARCHFAIL bandwagon though just because they decided to go WW2.

Meh, History is one of my favourite things so I for one was glad they decided to stay with WW2. Some people may say it's merely a WW2 Mod on COD4 but that's fine with me.

But that argument is dependant on 2 things (not attacking you, this is aimed at IW) - first, high game sales, and second, people playing long enough on the PC to warrant DLC content.

It will sell millions it's inevitable with a name this big.

Less PC gamers are going to buy (200,000+ less) now

You are assuming all those signatures are genuine and all of them will boycott MW2 which is very unlikely, but still that's something like 5% of the pc sales of MW1

because of IW.net, and when those that do buy, and find IW.net to be rubbish, they wont buy any DLC content as they wont be playing MW2 any more by the time the DLC is released!

Not really the game will be perfectly acceptable to the vast majority of gamers, after all otherwise MW1 wouldn't have sold on consoles as by your definition it would be rubbish.


This news affects only a tiny proportion of the target market enough for them to not purchase the game.
