That may be, but noise is noise. It can never be confused with grain. Noise is almost exclusively a bad thing. But grain can be incredibly beautiful if used correctly.

The reason these are in poundland for a pound is because of the packaging. Someone somewhere f'ed up at the packing plant or whatever. Rather than bin/rework them sell to poundland and probably still make a profit
