cheap M3, whats the worst..

Nothing we say will make any difference anyway and if it did turn out to be a shed you would deny it anyway.

So yea anyone seen anything good at the cinema lately?

A cheap m3 is A bit of an oxymoron isn't it? I'd imagine the worst that could happen is it I'll bankrupt you so hard you'd wish you had a beige allegro.

worst that could happen is that somethign expensive breaks and you strip it for parts.

tbh even if you pop the engine you'll still get your money back breaking it.

buy it hoon it around until something breaks strip for spares

I have a friend who just spent £3.3k on the older M3 Evo rag top, lowered ridiculously and with B&Q style front mesh, I wonder how he is getting on with it, this thread has reminded me to check in on him.

You could certainly look at it that way - and why not? Assuming the money is disposable and OP would in no way depend on this car, then £1500 is bail if it goes bang and write off your loss territory. It's not an investment that traps you into paying out to keep it, so will only become a money pit if OP lets it. So with that in mind, the worst it can be is an expensive and short joyride, then either total loss of the £1500 or some spannering and ebaying to get some back.

Go for it :)

If my assumption is wrong, £1500 isn't completely disposable and you would in any way depend on this car, you're an idiot. :)
