Cheap or Free Image Resize and Optimisation Program

Hi Guys

I am looking for a cheap or free image resize and optimisation program or service that I can recommend to other people to use. Currently I looking at this list:

All I need is something that can simply resize (in proportion) a photo, and optimise the file size. Being able to crop an image would be a "nice to have".

Does anyone have a recommendation?

You save the EXE, then rename the EXE to how you want the files sorted, then drag and drop your pictures onto the EXE.

If you you renamed it PhotoResize1920Q92.exe You'd get 1920x1080 pictures saved at JPEG quality 92.

Use the website to find create the filename structure.

Faststone Image Resizer. It's about as good as Faststone Image Viewer is (it's epic, and I don't use that word lightly).

I've used Image Resizer in the past for bulk resizing photos. Works a treat for me.
