Cheap sunglasses ?

For driving or just wearing? I find "biker" sunglasses are best for driving as they also cover the edges of the eyes and are more durable too.

I did look into the Oakleys ,the iridium lens ones ,just my research sent me back to Mauis but havnt had personal experience of them
another thing i like about the mauis apart from premium frame material is the 2 way hinges ,opening both ways means always a perfect fit

The negatives of expensive sunglasses to me is beach situations ie if i have to leave my gear on the beach to go bodyboarding im not going to leave the mauis ,also if they get covered in sand your not going to rub them down with wipes without a water rinse (toilets ,clean stream) ,my back up pair are https://www.northcoastwetsuits.co.uk/product/ncw-surf-sunglasses/ for those rare situations

Maui Jim's are great, from what I read their optics are better than Ray Ban etc. Make sure you get polarized lenses in either case. I have castles, think they were £180.

I did manage to drop mine or something and get a slight nick in the lens though. It's fine for everything but trying to read a screen where you just notice it :( I need to send it back to them for replacement, they charge about £60 or something for a full replacement so not too bad.

Quick update !

first off, thanks for all your suggestions fellas, They were much appreciated.

I decided to grab a pair of Oakley Coldfuse! Managed to nab a pair for £130 (got them with polarised, purple lenses)

Enjoy ,but dont sit on them like i did !!! ,those cords i mentioned are well worth getting and come in different colours also using the poundland glasses wipes ,work perfect after a water rinse

The service maui jim give you is first class ,i sat on the ones in the picture they are 3 years old ,sent off for new super thin glass lenses (they are wow i know) so for £75 got the expected lenses but also new arms ,a new case and that flowery carry bag thingy. i have heard tales on review sites of them sometimes sending out brand new pairs instead of repair ,they really try and look after you
