Cheap vs Expensive helmets and your preferred bike style?

How do you find it in terms of noise? For every review I can find saying it is quiet there is one saying it is stupidly loud

They are loud at stock, but you can get this:

I have the above and it's really quiet. Supposedly as quiet as a Schuberth (which I've been told are one of the quietest).

That shoei one might fit most helmets really, it just slides in between the helmet shell and padding.

Some other manufacturers do them, would just be a case of searching around.

Yours is loud? Mine is very good at keeping noise and wind level to a minimum, albeit you probably go a lot faster than I do.

Can use a necktube aswell pull up over ears and below your nose,blocks a lot of wind noise out

they're cheap bent plastic they are not optically correct so they will affect your perception.

Either it doesn't affect mine enough to cause problems with my riding, or I automatically compensate, either of which is good enough for me.
