Cheapest place to get Kopparberg?

I may have to visit Ikea, had no idea it was cheaper or even sold there! It's usually quite expensive but I absolutely love it. Perfect on a hot day or after work.

Epic revival. I bought some the other day from Tesco, they are 3 for 2 at the moment.

And Magners is alright. Nothing like Kopparberg though.

I don't love it anymore. Used to, but it's too sweet now I've tasted proper cider. Forget about your magners, strongbow and all that rubbish. I'm sure some cider buffs on here can recommend something much better (and usually cheaper). The best ones aren't often in supermarkets, though I did try a variety I found in sainsburys that was good -henneys. Less than £1.50 a bottle I think.

Of course, as soon as you leave the westcountry it gets a lot harder to find good cider!

Katys and Thatchers are both very nice and can be got hold of outside the west country (sort of).

Personally though I'm much more a fan of pear cider than Apple cider due to it's sweeter taste.

Thread revival :p

I'm loving Kopparberg Pear Cider at the moment. Is it worth trying Magners Pear Cider?

The GF says it's nice. But google says it's like poison compared to the swedish stuff!

Thanks x

Magners and Kopparberg is very different. Kopparberg is much sweeter than Magners/Brothers/Bulmers, which have similarish tastes. I'd love to find something mixed between the two really. Also anything with Elderberry is "supoybe"!

Also try this http://cideruk.com/cider_news/view/a_touch_of_class_from_katy/

Yeah, "firmly aimed at women" apparently but tasty as. Only found it near my ex girlfriends house though (west country)...

Local sainsburys were doing it for about 1.39 a bottle, Asda do it for 3 for £5 which is generally the most stable option as they are practically always doing that.

Also, I hate the elderflower one, used to the mixed fruit and strawberry and lime and I would say it is nothing like those.

Does IKEA still sell this? I was there in warrington the other week and couldn't find any mention of it.

Cheers

I also love Koppaberg after discovering it. What does it for me is that the Pear Cider actually tastes like Pear... Or Pear Drops at least!
