Cheapest Skiing in France?

No rental gear though....
So can you fit all the luggage for 6 people in a 9 seat van? Sounds a bit of a squeeze if you can get it all in, especially for a long drive.

Also as you are renting in the UK, have you factored in what I mentioned previously about car kit and snow chains?

We've all got our own boards and boots, have to take bindings off for the journey so its a little more compact. Here is the same vehicle in 2012 when there was 7 of us driving down. With it being the Long wheel base version the boot is very generous.


There should be 9 seats on the below pic but only showing 8. Last time we removed the bottom left seat so there was a passage for boards and other luggage.

This year with there only being 6 of us we may just remove the middle row or back row completely.


With regards to French car kit we have all that (reflective jackets, breathalysers, warning triangle and spare bulbs from our own cars and from last time), with the snow chains we go to any Carrefour supermarket on the way/bottom of the mountain. We buy a new set for €25, keep the receipt and then return unused on the way home for a full refund.
