I want 2 ssd's for my computer, I was wondering if there is a cheap ssd that is better then a hhd that I can use for OS, microsoft word, powerpoint etc. and a browser.

I also want a SSD for my games, best bang for buck.

I have a 500gb hdd for storage and games that I hardly play.

Have a corsair force and an ocz vertez , you can pick either up for 90 plus vat . Correct me if I'm wrong but the only differences are slight ....due to type of memory .

If you have access to members market there is a good intel 60gb going for £45.
is the members market a kind of ebay thing, and would it be second hand?

also is the sandisk 64gb or ocz 60gb (on another website) any good, for my cheap os ssd?

and what is the best ssd for games with a budget below £100

Samsung 830's are usually the most recommended around here, due to reliability. Although, beware of the fact that the 830 is better than the 840 unless getting the Pro version. I have a Vertex 4 myself and is great, the difference between most SSD's is minimal though.

ok, I guess I will just go for the cheapest out of these: samsung, crucial, ocz and intel?

Cheapest SSD I would get at the moment is the Crucial M4 64gb, which will be fine for the OS and other programs: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-008-CR&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=910

As for games, it's best to have something with loads more space (Funny... seems to be no more 830 256gbs...): http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-159-SA&groupid=701&catid=2104&subcat=2394

I don't want to spend £200 on a ssd, I would rather just go for the samsung 830 124gb, I don't play many games, it would only hold the games I am currently playing, so planetside 2, tf2, bf3, arma 2 + wasteland mod + dayz and a few indies. Could 124gb hold that?

Where and how do you get in the members market?

From the FAQ:

Access to the Members Market forum requires two things. Firstly, you will need to have over 1000 posts and have been signed up for at least 180 days. Please note that this does not mean you spam the forums simply to increase your posts, as this action will result in posts being deducted, and if you continue this behaviour, your account will eventually be banned/suspended. Once you reach 1000 posts, you will need to activate your trust. The Trust system is for Members Market feedback only and not to be used for general user comments. Abusing the trust system will not be tolerated and such abuse will result in your account being suspended/ banned. Trust activation is either found in your UserCP, or you can press the trust button that appears at the bottom of all your posts.

Once you meet those requirements it will appear as a section of the forums.
