CheatHappens.com worth the fee?

Cheating in Multiplayer games is definately bad...but single player is perfectly fine. I've definately downloaded trainers for many games where a sandbox mode doesn't exist. Definately fun to able to play the game with infinite resources.

My first game I used cheats for was Doom...very cool...epecially being able to view the hidden areas not visible during normal gameplay.

Wow, so many people frowning upon people who want to use cheats to play the game they bought the way they want.

I dont tend to use cheats first time around when playing single players, but after I have played it a couple of times through it can get boring (a la Crysis) but with a trainer I can literally just go onto the game and **** about for a little while to relieve stress from a long day.

I can sometimes play these games, but its always nice to have unlimited resources, and makes the game a lot more enjoyable, even though it wont be that challenging anymore, but that is how I like some games, especially the Command & Conquer games, they play a lot more better being able to control a whole unit to blow up the other side, always more satisfying that way.

I am sure there might be other public trainers later on, but they do not have as many options as the Cheathappens versions, which might make there Lifetime see justifiable. I just wanted to make sure the website was not a con before I stump up the cash and download all these trainers that I have been wanting for a while

Single player cheat - Yes, okay. As long as you play it first without.

Multiplayer - .....NOOOO!

I cheated on HL2 when you can have the blue gun that picks up everything all through the map :P

Was very very fun indeed.

But tbh, paying for a trainer just to play single player is abit wierd tbh.

Just play it normally and be patient for a public release.

This is what I usually do. But sometimes when companies patch the game CH dont bring out an updated trainer for a while for non paying.

@OP you might wanna wait to see if any console commands come out for Prototype.

Prototype might have console commands, but to be honest I doubt that they will have as many options as these trainers have. As the site looks really legit, paying a one-off fee for unlimited trainers might not be a bad idea, would certainly give all of my older games a new lease of life and a bit more fun to play with all the available options

Am I the only person here who doesn't (didn't) know what a "trainer" was for a pc game? Basically it's a fancy way of saying cheat I take it?

If so, SP is fine, MP is "you're a complete dip****"

I remember trainers for my old spectrum games...so they've been around quite a while :)

In fact..wasn't there also those weird boxed that you attached to the back of the spectrums that could 'freeze' games and/or work as trainers? Seem to remember them being advertised in Your Sinclair or Crash or something...

Think an action replay but without codes and premade cheats you can use.

I had thought about the membership before, but tend to just wait for the free ones. Failing that I would pay half with someone and share the account.

They are easier than Action Replays. A trainer is basically a small program that is custom made for a game, and then you launch this program and the game, and then this program lets you have various cheats just by pressing a button, they are literally that simple.

most games have cheats incoperated. I did HL2 in easy mode whilst at eh same time having unlimited ammo, guns, cars, hovercrafts and invinceability from the very start :P :P

Depending on the game it is whether a game has cheats available is a deal breaker. Because imo games with cheats have more playability than those without.
