Every SINGLE PLAYER PC game should have optional 'cheats' screen ,accessible only if you haven't played the game for over 3 months. Which allows you to smash through anything else the game has to offer.

Thinking about the amount of content within computer games that I have paid for, but haven't actually seen (and never will) as I've not completed the game. The amount of end-game baddies I haven't even seen .. the 'later-game' weapons I never got to shoot, the final credits music I haven't got to hear that I kinda paid for .. it's a disgrace!

Developers -- we're all bigboys now .. after 3 months lack-of-activity on a game, unlock us a load of cheats please so we can at least actually see the end bits of what we paid for.. this should be a standard thing ..

What say you?

I was going to disagree and then thought more about it and have come to the conclusion "why not".

I personally dont get interest in cheating just to see new guns/levels/bosses etc. But if you do then I dont see why not.

I say they should just give you the option to cheat when you like rather than having some inbuilt timer.

Games with a command console usually have a command that enables this anyway. Maybe just allowing all games to have this would work? From the start, not after 3 months inactivity...

In before lolbritboy.

The complaint is that you don't get to see parts of the game you've paid for, but your remedy would be to have an option to skip parts of the game you've paid for.

It annoys me to an extent when games offer a "You're not good enough to do this bit. Skip it?" for bad players, not sure why a "can't be bothered" mode would be better. :p the ending should be the reward for completing the game imo.

The trainers are on links to other sites at the bottom of each game page. At least it was for F.E.A.R which is the one I clicked on :p

Must be a slow news GD day, for britboy to be making threads in here :D

No, that's not what he's saying, he never mentioned skipping anything?

His remedy is to have cheats, so if you get stuck at 58% through a game and you just can't get past a certain bit you can flick on God Mode or infinite ammo or something and carry on playing the game.

Some people just aren't particularly good or don't have the time or inclination to replay a difficult part many many times, everyone is different, so if some people want 'cheats' so they can have an easier time of things and see all the content they've paid for, who are you to say otherwise?

It's an entirely optional thing and would have absolutely zero negative impact on your own gaming experience, so what does it matter?

Yeah I agree, I think when I play a fighting game the enemy should just fall over and die, so i can get to the end and unlock all the characters.

Infact why even make them unlockable? Just give me them all. Also when I'm losing when I play online, give me a button so I can instantly kill the other person and win every game, because I don't like losing.
