Check my fish tank.

I have a 115 litre tank (30 US gallons) it is quite a deep tank, however, with a depth of about 21 inches. I have been using the flourish carbon substitute and that has made a difference but the red plants are bare apart from about halfway up. I am assuming this is because not enough light is reaching the bottom of the tank.

Normal Flourish or Flourish Iron? Red plants need Iron.

Liking the tank. But those sort of fish always seem to be lacking in personality imo. Looks great though and interesting with all those crabs etc :)

Very nice mate.

I have the exact same tank that has been running for around 12 months now. Currently housing a firefish, coral beauty dwarf angel, shrimp and a small variety of corals (shrooms, xenia, green star polyps, african tree)

I really dont see where the issue is with keeping 2 clowns in a tank that size. I also have a smaller nano which is around 40 litres that i have a single 'tank bread' clown in for the last 9 months with no issues at all.

It's an expensive hobby to start and horrid when things go wrong (i had 6 months of issues with bubble algae) but lovely to look at once up and stable

So you can buy materials - and find you have other little crawlies living in there for free? That's pretty cool! :)

Sorry for the noob question. I've only ever killed, sorry owned about 10 gold fish before.

yeah, but half the time you don't want those beasties! I spent 5 nights stalking crab that we knew would couse trouble later on. Wasn't easy to catch! (my bro's marine tank, red filter on torch with lights off).

Same can happen in freshwater though, usually snails. Can be a pest, but can be controlled with loaches. :)

looks very very very over stocked to me and some of they fish when bigger or any time will probably kill each other. the 2 oscars alone will exceed 14 inches.

Yeah it was over stocked. I've got rid of a few since that video. And the oscars will be moved into another tank when bigger.

Quality tanks apatia77, and [SKR]Phoenix.

Check mine out :) Would like to know what you think.

LOL that's a wicked tank you have there. I didn't know you could have this many big fish in one tank even though its 100g. (I have seen above that you did move some of the fish now). I really didn't know that tropical tank can have this massive funky looking fish all together. Well done. (and the video is nicely edited too)

If I went for tropical tank I'd go personally for planted tank I think.

Yes indeed, i used to have two tiger oscars in a 100 gallon tank...the only other fish in there was a pleco...oscars are mental:D
