check my spec

I would change the mobo from the Striker and save some coin, and buy either the EVGA or the BGF 680. I would stick with the Zalman CNPS9700, it does the job very well imo.

I would also get the Corsair 620w PSU, its one of the best out there at the moment.

Do you not need a keyboard, mouse, or monitor, Speakers, or even a Soundcard?

ive got the the striker and have no problems with it what so ever amazing to overclock as it does it by itself push the percent up and it automatically does the fsb ram etc etc great mobo
 
if i get the striker what ram should i get, is the ocz good for overclocking, also what psu should i get i know theres been a few suggestions just wonderin if there any others i should consider
 
the stiker is ace like i said ive had no probs with it amazingly easy to overclock as for ram look for ocz, corsair and team x-treme as for power supply i wudnt really no i have the enermax galaxy very good, keeps the system fairly cool aswell :D

also the features on the mobo are amazing has a lcd on the mobo tellng you whats wrong if anything goes wrong, also it has a very fancy heatpipe and looks the part

look for ram with low latency, the lower the latency the faster the ram can perform, also to overclock but generally speaking the lower the latency the higher the price note :eek:
 
low latency doesn't have much real world impact on C2D systems, but it does mean when you push out the timings you can raise the memory clock speed more :D
