yes but like melbourne said it allows you to raise the memory clock speed so generally will be faster

also look for timings of 5-5-5-15 or 4-4-4-12

psu depends what you want tagen, hyper, enermax are great psus ive got the enermax 850watt its amazing i dont regret it, has 4 rails can run many hdds 4 graphic cards with ease but you would need a monster of a case and a cooling solution to suit but its got abit of a price tag
