Check out these new EVGA SLI Bridges !!!!

It would me nice to see mobo manufacturers including SLI bridges that matched the board rather than .£.0.10p ones the include now.

My Asus X99-E WS had 1x2, 1x3 and a 1x4 way SLI bridge in the box and the all looked like crap! shame as spending 20p more they could look like the VAG ones or even better.

About 50bux I think.

Bridge ribbon = few pennies?
Plastic shell = less than 1p?
LED = a penny?

Daylight robbery tbh.

I would love to see people making their own, posting pics & comparing etc

I pray they never do that...

In all honesty - why?

Bridges are no longer necessary at all - and I don't believe it would take any performance away using the PCIE bridge like AMD do for Crossfire?

Its just a differentiator between AMD and NVidia now, no real reason to keep using them from everything I have seen, but happy to be corrected.

One the main reasons why I like the SLI bridge is I find it really helps support the weight of the cards and stops them from hanging down..
It just makes them a lot more solid when the two GPU's are linked together by an SLI bridge and not loose & floppy like they sometime can be without the SLI bridge fitted..

I don't know what cards you have used - but I have never had a problem with even a remotely floppy card. Im also dubious something that small and close to the riser would have that much of an effect in the first place

I think this is going to be placebo more than anything else:)
