So i already had a thread here, you guys helped me come up with the spec below. However it was 2 weeks ago and i now have a firm budget in mind, i'll be ordering parts on monday, if you know of any different deals now could you let me know?

The budget now is £1200 (MAYBE £1300 but ill go with 1.2 for now),
so maybe an SSD?

Also as a last minute reassurance i guess.

Thanks.

...

And a SSD (Crucial M4) is a great idea.

Ok thanks for the suggestions... How's this as a final:

I switched to Noctua simply because i'd heard of them a lot more than the Alpenfohn, if you guys think i should switch back i'll consider it.

WHAT, NO OPTICAL DRIVE?

Not sure if serious.... Last time i used a CD out of work was probably 2 years ago, but even so i have one i can put in for the OS installation, from my old pc.

EDIT: on an odd topic, i have no tools currently, i.e screwdriver set :D since you only really need screwdrivers for pc... anyway anything particularly nice floating around Overclockers :D?

Go back.

Also that Noctua is for LGA2011

O.o oops didnt see that... wow fml i shouldn't make a mistake that big XD

What about game installs?

90% of my library of games is digital, and like i said i have an optical drive laying around if need be, im also getting an external one for my mum soon so theres plenty of options for me to install from CD/dvd without buying new.
