So simple, yet for me is one the most delicious, yummiest, comfort foods one can make.

How do you do yours?

For me, it's a light toast in the toaster for the bread, then sliced cheese (normally cathedral city) on top. Grill that for a few seconds then add some mild grated cheese on top. Leave to bubble and go slightly brown on top.

Oh dear, I think i'm gonna have to go and make some now. :p

Bread (3 slices) under grill and toast one side.
Turn bread over and cover with cheese (Monterey Jack preferred)
Toast until bubbling.
Eat (without wife finding out)

Very thinly sliced tomatoes ontop of the cheese and then grill is always great.

But I really like welsh rarebit, beer based one.

Marmite the other side then add sliced cheese (strong cheddar).

NOM.

Grill one side of bread, turn over and add cheese.

Add ham once almost cooked (sometimes). If no ham, finish with worcester sauce.

Toast one side under the grill, lightly toast the second side then lay sliced onion on the bread, slices of a good mature cheddar and then top off with En Cona Thai Sweet Chilli sauce.

Nuke under grill :)

I like a really strong cheddar and not much else. Marmite is ok, but it's got to be thinly spread. I agree with billy too, those toastiebags are pretty decent if you just want a quick toasted cheese sandwich. They're also fantastic for cooking stuff like potato waffles for a quick snack too lol

1. Toast one side, butter the other. (With proper butter, not that vegetable spread crap)
2. Top with thinly sliced tomatoes, mature cheddar and a few drops of Worcestershire sauce.
3. Grill until bubbling and golden.
4. Devour.

Grill one side of the bread, flip it over and add some cathedral city, (not the low fat stuff, it doesnt melt as well). Toast until it bubbles, add a pinch of salt and black pepper, devour with a cup of tea, delicious, off to make some now.

Toast the bread slightly in the toaster, then finish up one side on the grill. Flip it over, add the cheese (mature cheddar, natch). Grill until mostly melted. Splash on Worcester Sauce and push sliced chillies into the cheese at a few points. Grill until golden and bubbling.

NOSH.
