Cher Lloyd - Swagger Jagger

The weird thing as well with this is she was in the radio one studio, when they announced the number, and that was scheduled a few days before.

If it was recorded a few days before then it would be easy to edit out if there was a late surge from some other record, but based on midweek sales figures they probably had an idea she'd be on top.

I just knew she must have been from X factor or something when it got to number 1.

Zane Lowes reaction to the song summed it up pretty well :D.

Haha, I've still not heard the song yet, but heard it mentioned that it was number 1, which reminded me of this thread.

The rage in here is brilliant :D

I don't quite understand why people are complaining though. If you don't like this sort of music, why do you take any notice of the charts?

Genuine question, as this thread was started a month ago and I've still not heard this particular song, so it's not as if it's hard to avoid. And everyone knows that terrible songs have been getting to number 1 for years, so that's not exactly a surprise either.

Some good comedy posts in here though.

To be honest the song wouldnt have got anywhere on it's own merit, it's an example of the marketing might of celebrity shows/magazines that push this garbage to the impressionable youth and say "if you dont buy this you are an outsider and weird". Sad really.

The bloke in that video looks like a total spastic. What the hell is wrong with his mouth?

As for Cher Lloyd? I've said it before, and I'll say it again - She's a pump.

What's wrong with her hair? It looks like someone shaved her head for a prank when she was asleep.

I like that style. :o
