I'm just watching some saturday morning TV here and it's some program about cheryl tweedy (Girls Aloud pop star) And in this show she gets chauffeured around as I guess most of these 'stars' do. Any way the point of this: blatantly wearing NO seatbelt on several occasions.

I hate the way somebody 'apparently' snaps a pic of JC on a phone with large media ramifications, yet this daft bint is blatantly not abiding by the law and nobody blinks for a second (me aside)

When are people gonna pull thered heads outta there butt holes?!?! And wake up to real news/what really matters!

afaik unless she's driving the taxi then she's still required to wear a seatbelt by law if there is one fitted.

That doesn't make a difference. It's still the law to wear a seatbelt if available in a taxi - unless you're the driver.

I think that's the point. It has nothing to do with people, expect there are people out there victimising JC so why are people not doing the same here...?

But we all know it wasn't JC on the phone anyway.

The phone vs seat beat is interesting. JC using his phone puts other people at danger - other people have justification to be concerned. The Tweedy woman not wearing a seatbelt is her own problem, highly unlike to affect anyone but herself.

Is there proof he was stationary, or is that speculation? I was under the impression he was driving along in control of a car... if not then I would revise my opinion.

The photos that were in the article about it seemed to suggest they were sitting in traffic as there wasn't any motion blur.

from this article which shows Fat Frank and Ashley Cole talking on their mobiles and not wearing a seatbelt. Not sure about 'driving' though because they don't appear to be moving vey much, but I guess they are still classed as being 'in control of a vehicle'.
