Chicken Bovril - Where has this gone?

always worth a look in the pound shops as well, I used to get the little plastic cups of beef bovril in there - 10 for a quid IIRC. Maybe they will have similar for this chicken variety?

This thread currently #1 search result for "chicken bovril" on Bing and Duckduckgo. And #4 on Google, after 3 teasing results helpfully showing where to not be able to buy it on Asda, Sainsburys and Amazon.

I'm about 90% certain that I saw Chicken Bovril on the shelves in Poundland a couple of days before Christmas. That said, I'm also a Beef Bovril quaffer. Can't go to footy or out on the bike without a flask of the stuff.

I have wondered for months so emailed Unilever and this is part of their response...

Thank you so much for getting in touch with us about the availability of Chicken Bovril. It is still in production and It’s great to hear that you’re keen to buy it. We have had some delays due to the Pandemic, we are doing everything that we can and are working hard alongside retailers to keep your favourite's on shelves. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over which products are stocked in your local supermarkets.

I appreciate it is difficult locating these items at present and recommend calling your local retailers to ask if there is stock and if they will be able to order the product for you. Here are the retailer's numbers:

Asda 0800 952 0101
Morrisons 0845 611 6111
Sainsbury's 0800 636262

I do hope you can get hold of the product shortly. I recently found these in Wilko’s so it may be worth trying there.

Should you have any further feedback, or wish to discuss this matter further, please get back in touch and we will be happy to help.

Off topic, I have used the word Offendoshpere twice on OCUK and they come back as 2 of only 3 google returns for the word which is a source of immense pride :-D. Although soon 3 of 4 maybe :-D

I know this was an older post ... but Overclockers threads maybe popular when you, specifically, are searching ie. tracking/search-engine echo chambers;

Overclockers, for a while has had tracked advertising search results in google, anyway, a choice they made ? (I need to get that skip redirect add on updated)

I sent an email to unilever asking if they had discontinued the Chicken Bovril and this is the reply I had

Thank you for your recent email to us regarding the availability of Bovril Chicken Extract.

There’s been an increase in demand for this product this year, so we’ve unfortunately had to prioritise production of some of our Bovril products.

I can confirm that Chicken Bovril will be back soon, but in the meantime, we hope you can enjoy our Beef Bovril instead?

I hope this response isn't too disappointing.

Thank you for your continued interest.

I think I may have found the reason, with some experimentation using my previous favourite graphics card TIM, that being mustard, compared to using Chicken Bovril I found much greater performance from the Chicken Bovril with a whopping average 3 degree temperature drop when running at full load. With that bombshell I think it's safe to surmise that all the ****** miners have bought up the Chicken Bovril to re-TIM the RTX30XX cards they're currently making their millions on
