Children’s designer clothes

Our 4 year old is growing at such a crazy rate, there's absolutely no point buying anything which is branded or anything remotely expensive/nice (either for the name and/or the quality) complete waste of time and money, I'd rather put the money in his savings.

He always looks pretty cool anyway, but of course I would say that!

People bought our daughter fancy things, we never put them in them for fear of them being chewed, ruined, covered in all manner of bodily fluids.

That’s your prerogative, if I bought something good for one of my family’s kids, and they wouldn’t let the kid wear it,
in case it got something spilled on it, or damaged, they’d never get anything else,
That’s what kids do, they climb tress, get dirty, get too near a nail sticking out, and tear their clothes.

My missus buys 90% of my kids stuff from ebay as its only been worn for a few months most of the time it looks new.
She then puts it back on ebay and most of the time she gets her money back or more.
Goods kids clothes to be found on ebay just make sure you buy cheap or make cheeky offers.[/QUOTE]

Please, please, don’t misunderstand me, there’s no way that I could say this without it going down like a lead balloon, but I could no more do that, than dress my kids in bin liners.
When my kids were little, there was no such thing as eBay, nor designer clothes, they got the best that I could afford from my job as a truck driver, and they never had the **** hanging out of their trousers, and if their shoes were worn out, they got new ones.
If a big outlay came up, I’d volunteer to do another round trip from London to Glasgow, for about £40 in those days.
I’d be knackered, but the kids had new shirts and socks and underwear.
Quite often, other family members would pass on hand me downs that their boys had grown out of, as we passed some stuff on too, when our boys outgrew stuff.
Now my boys are grown, with their own kids, I buy the grandkids, and great nieces and great nephews, stuff online from Alex and Alexa
