WTF is going on, Russia is threatening nuclear war in Ukraine and now there are rumours of Xi Jinping, the guy who dubiously extended his own term in office, being coup'd today:

Flights looking a bit interesting, it doesn't seem to be only social media rumours, there appears to be *something* wrong:

What does this show,I don't understand the significance

I was reading about the Xi thing earlier but couldn't find anything but Twitter posts. Nothing of any real substance so assume it's fake at this point.

Does seem to just be fake news from some Indians on Twitter... Then again there must be a bit of unrest in the Chinese leadership at the moment, with the economy stalling and zero covid policies without sufficient vaccine rollout causing problems too. Who knows what's going on behind the scenes...

Would be interesting to know whether the lack of aircraft in the skies earlier had a good reason though...

Xi has been in the process of lining himself up for a third term as leader, going against recent precedent. Things didn't go well last time they had a leader for life.

There's pressures building that may push the party into pushing back again his ascendency: property scandal and insolvency of major firms (who've already taken massive deposits for unbuilt homes), constant covid lockdowns with local officials being stupidly over zealous and hacking off everyone, some finance chickens coming home to roost where belt and road initiative loans look unsustainable and unlikely to be paid back without a big haircut.

More likely Indian TV spouting random Daily Fail style BS to push their own agenda and clickbaits - although Pakistan would be the usual hate country, not China.

Channel 4 news earlier had a piece on China's speech today at the UNGC, and specifically asked why Winnie wasn't there giving the speech in person and were told there is no official line as to why. Which in Chinese roughly translates to "shut the **** up and stop asking questions".

But as above, most likely a load of rubbish made up by knobheads on Twitter putting two and two together and getting five.
