The Daily Mail in this article say that the only reason for the "Death Vans" is not because it's more humane but only for financial reasons. Now as I understand shooting somebody or cutting them is a lot more cheaper to do than to have doctors administering lethal injections??? That article is stupid.

Corruption is practically a way of life in China. It's almost taken for granted that you need to provide kickbacks to politicians, academics, or whoever else is controlling your potential future, in order to advance.

The problem with the banking sector before the 'crash' was greed and over-extending themselves, not corruption.

Im not a fan of the death penalty but if I was I would want it to be as efficient and cost effective as possible.

I hate the tone in the Daily Mail, just designed to raise blood pressure. I dont see whats wrong with reusing the organs either.

It doesnt directly say these organs go to the black market, it says there is a black market for organs. The editor clearly thought the death van headline wasnt punchy enough.

Honestly, dont really see a problem with it, it makes sense as stated before, to have a mobile unit that services multiple facilities, rather than each having to build, maintain and staff their own.

The selling of the harvested organs on the black market though, is a bit of a red herring in some regards I think. Surely, if the state is harvesting the organs, and then selling them to those who can afford it (in a country with no nationalised health system) then surely there is no black market as it is state approved?

If the van cost £60k, a couple of lungs and a kidney will have paid for it in no-time, after that there is just the running costs to worry about.

Well I dont agree with them, it certainly brings back memories of the Nazi era. If you have to kill someone because of law, then you do it in a manner of respect. Regardless of the crime a death penalty should be done correct and as human as possible. Albert Peerpoint anyone? He had a set routine which he did and become England's number 1 executioner!

Although it is a sore subject, I really really wish we have it again here in the UK! and more to that prisoners used as free labour!!!

because you don't have to build a death chamber in every prison/transport prisoners to one location. you just move death row to them.

Unfortunately can be extremely painful. The drug the yanks and I assume china deliver. make it feel your entire body is on fire. There's evidence to show the sedatives lose effect before death occurs.
They are paying the ultimate price I don't see why pain should be included it's just barbaric. They should at least use suffocation though lack of air. As at least they die in happy bliss. Although I would still be against that.

the chinease also add a drug which prevents breathing unlike the yanks. so by the time the sedatives had worn off you'd be in hypoxia most likely. iirc suffocation is better than heart attack for organ harvestiong
