Chinese Grand Prix 2015, Shanghai - Race 3/19

That was hilarious. Rosberg is cementing himself as a clear no 2. in the team this year. Hamilton oozes supreme confidence, rosberg looks beaten already tbh.

I feel kind of bad for him in that, because of the reliability and because of the pressure the gap put on Hamilton which effected him in qualifying the media portrayed Rosberg as a genuine title possibility all year. Had Hamilton not had the reliability issues, he would have smashed Rosberg last year. Thinking you were almost on par with Hamilton for a year then having a year like this year has got to be a bit soul destroying.

Whoa, I just saw a Manor, on tv... Bernie is slipping, or will be firing a tv director :p

Mclaren however will probably sponsor Manor soon... only thing in F1 that can make them look less bad ;)

I doubt it's anything to do with it tbh. He's always been a mardy little girl over the radio etc. Most drivers can be when they feel under pressure.

The messages today have all been okay in my opinion tbh. Merecedes were simply giving him a little nudge.

Well it's clear what Hamilton was trying to do in backing Rosberg into Vettel. Just wondering if that was a little message to the team, who then responded by pitting Rosberg first, to which Lewis responded with his blinding laps. All seemed a little tit-for-tat to me.

Agreed, Hamilton was a lot better last year than was portrayed. I just don't think Rosberg has the same confidence in his ability (or the natural talent) that a top driver needs.

This is now going to be a cruise to the finish, think it will finish as it stands now for the top 4, unless Kimi takes on Vettel. Will be interesting come barcelona as supposedly Ferrari are bringing major aero and pu updates (I heard merc brought big updates to China). If ferrari can keep picking up 3-4 finishes until then, it could get quite interesting towards the end of the season. Until then Merc still have the clear outright pace advantage apart from high temp tracks.

Edit: LOLdonado

Hamilton always planned the laps for sure, the message was Merc trying to get him to stop screwing with Rosberg, which is fair enough. Though this was likely a strategy Hamilton worked on with his engineer... one they probably didn't share with Paddy/Toto ;)

Like I said, if Hamilton can control Rosberg as last year and put him under pressure in terms of Vettel or Kimi taking a couple of second places off him, then even if he has a reliability problem he'd have a stronger gap and less issues.

He's driving like a true champion, both because he's so god damned fast lap after lap and he's controlling the guys behind him so completely.

Moron Moment No.2

Although, if he held it... would have been an absolutely magnificent slowmo moment. :D

During the replay I was hoping he was going to hold it just because it would have looked cool. He's not hit anyone so far, I don't really have a problem with a driver spinning while pushing hard, I like to see that really. I don't like to see someone smacking another driver off the track due to petulance, or bad driving but the thing that makes me hate Maldonado is he has literally used his car as a weapon and deliberately hit people with his car.... ****

lol he was very unlucky last year

I just cant get over how ridiculously rough that Honda sounds, its not just off throttle, it sounds like its happening in low rpm on throttle as well.
